Since opening, we have grown substantially over the years, and have went from setting up at a local flea market, to a beautiful, 4500 ft location.
We still have the same, non commercial, mom and pop store mentality and feel which focuses on customer service and ensuring the family will be the right match for the new companion, no matter what the species.
Many of the species we work with we personally raise ourselves, and others come from other USDA licensed breeders and zoos. Did you know without people like us many of these amazing species would be extinct? Such as Bettongs, Lemurs, Cotton Top Tamarins, New Guinea Singing Dogs, etc. All of which we personally have and provide through our store as well.
Although exotics are not a good fit for everyone, when paired with the appropriate family they can make amazing family members. We appreciate each and every guest that has entered our door regardless of the amount spent and we hope to continue serving the greater Pensacola, Florida area for many, many years to come!
We pride ourselves in being responsible, ethical breeders for almost 6 years running. What does this mean exactly, well for starters most of our pets have full lineage going back eight generations or more. We have some of the lowest COI%’s in world and strive to produce the best quality animals possible with health and temperament being first and foremost. Having proper clean lines and full lineage means that our unrelated pets have much less of a chance of carrying genetic defects which are more common in animals with unknown origins that can shorten the lifespan of your new family member. All of our joeys are gently handled from the first day out of pouch right up until they join your family. This insures that they will be tame and well socialized, ready to start bonding in their new home. We support our joeys for life, whether they remain with the original families or not. Sometimes life can throw a curveball and even the most dedicated parents need to rehome their gliders for the animal’s best interest. If this is the case, then our support extends to the new family and beyond as our concern is always number one for any glider born to our home. We have been there for the lives of all of our bundles of joy born into pets, and will continue to be there, for the life of yours.
